MyMOCA is a utility app that offers a range of features to facilitate the promotion and protection of artwork. There are no fees, commissions, or charges associated with the sale of artwork on this platform.

The app allows users to upload art for various purposes, including creation, discovery, and curation. User data is solely utilized for the promotion and safeguarding of artworks and will not be used for any other purposes.

Artworks can be sold, traded, gifted, or loaned using the app's blockchain transfer capability, enabling users to negotiate terms and track the provenance and ownership history of each piece.

Operators have the flexibility to define and customize terms and commissions for each transfer individually. Payment for artworks or services is conducted directly between users using their preferred payment methods, as the app does not handle payments. Artists are advised to insure their own artworks.

The app also enables artwork credentials to serve as a form of currency through credential transfers. Once a transfer is accepted, the data of each owner becomes securely locked, allowing only the current holder to add to the artwork's history.

With the SCAN feature, uploaded artworks become easily identifiable. Users can track previous scans/uploads, as well as monitor where their art has been featured over time (such as in private collections, institutional installations, virtual or physical galleries, movie/TV appearances, etc.).

MyMOCA offers a global platform where users can host, post, share, submit, and map their artworks for worldwide visibility. With artist permission, art can also be submitted for potential inclusion in movies or TV shows.

The app features two types of accounts: "Institution" accounts for exhibition submissions and "Individual" accounts for showcasing personal art. Each account necessitates a unique email address. Users have the option to receive notifications discreetly through badge numbers on the MyMOCA icon.

The "Controls" page provides operators with access to all app features. The "Homepage" functions as a social media feed where users can engage with artworks by liking, voting, and commenting publicly or privately.
